OUR STORY
A Decade of Community-Led Development
Founded in 2022, Atim Ekanem Foundation was born from a conviction that sustainable development begins with community ownership. What started as a kidney health awareness initiative has grown into a multidimensional development institution.
We partner with government bodies, corporate CSR programmes, international development agencies, and passionate individuals to deliver programmes that create lasting change, not dependency.

The Atim Ekanem Foundation (AEF) is a non-profit organization established in 2022 in memory of Mrs. Atim Ekanem, who battled kidney disease for more than 1 year. The Foundation is committed to ensuring easy access to dialysis treatments and other care for Nigerians battling chronic kidney disease.
The Foundation is dedicated to supporting patients with kidney disease navigate the challenging journey by providing dialysis treatment support, promoting kidney health awareness, and advocating for early detection through free screening.
Through our work, we aim to raise awareness about kidney health, provide financial assistance for dialysis, and contribute to policy that improves healthcare delivery for kidney patients in Nigeria.
