About Our Foundation
The Atim Ekanem Foundation was established in memory of Atim Ekanem, who battled kidney disease. Her journey inspired us to create a foundation dedicated to raising awareness about kidney health and supporting affected communities.
Since our founding, we’ve worked tirelessly to provide education, resources, and support to individuals and communities across Nigeria, focusing on preventive care, early detection, and improved access to treatment.

Driven by personal experiences with kidney disease, Mrs. Kretschmer founded the Atim Ekanem Foundation to expand free medical outreach in Akwa Ibom State.
